BeforeBuilding is a new web platform that connects Clients with specialists (Service Providers) in planning, design, and architecture. Clients can submit a free service inquiry through the BeforeBuilding app and receive three quotes from selected companies. The inquiry is not visible to other platform users or visitors—only Service Providers can see it. Another option is to find a suitable specialist by browsing company profiles in the service category.

What are the Construction Guide and Industry References?
The Construction Guide is a part of the web platform that explains terms and legal frameworks related to construction. It describes key activities and requirements and helps determine what permits or approvals are needed during different application and procedure phases. It’s an illustrative and easy-to-understand guide.
Industry References is a section on the BeforeBuilding platform that contains links related to planning, design, and architecture—covering key legislation, guidelines, definitions, tools, authorities, and organizations. The goal is to simplify access to necessary information and contacts.
What are Trust Badges?
Registered specialists on the platform have professional qualifications and documents that demonstrate their expertise and experience. These are displayed in a unique format in each company profile under the section called Trust Badges.
Registered Service Providers can display the following Trust Badges on their profiles: professional certificate, operating license, certification, competency certificate, and membership in professional associations or other organizations. Trust Badges are shown as icons (with additional info displayed as text or a number). Service Providers with Trust Badges offer Clients greater confidence in their selection and allow professionals to present their expertise and experience in a modern format. The platform regularly checks the validity of registered Trust Badges.
How do I register an account? How do I log in?
If you're not yet a BeforeBuilding user:
- Go to the platform homepage
- Click ‘Register’
- In the 'Register as a user' view, select ‘Private Individual’ or ‘Legal Entity’
- Enter the required information according to your user type
- Review the 'Terms of Use' and check the box
- Click ‘Register’
- You are now registered
If you're already a BeforeBuilding user and want to log in (as a Client):
- Go to the platform homepage
- Click ‘Log in’
- Enter your email address and click ‘Log in’
- You’ll receive a confirmation email (no need to open or click it)
- The platform will display a one-time password—click ‘Confirm’
- You are now logged in
How does the BeforeBuilding app work?
Whether you're a private individual or a representative of a legal entity, you can use the BeforeBuilding app to submit service inquiries. Here's how it works:
- Submit a free inquiry (multiple-choice questions are provided for convenience)
- Browse companies that have shown interest in your inquiry
- Select 3 companies from whom you want to receive a quote
- If necessary, clarify project details via personal communication channels
- Select a contractor and start the project (you don't have to confirm your selection on the BeforeBuilding platform)
- Optionally, leave feedback on the company’s profile
How do I submit an inquiry?
Whether you're a private individual or a representative of a legal entity, you can submit inquiries for free. If you don't yet have a registered account, follow these steps:
- Go to the platform homepage
- Select the service category (6 options) and click ‘Submit Inquiry’
- The ‘Add Inquiry’ form will open
- Select services of interest and answer the questions (multiple-choice answers are provided)
- Describe the project and its objectives in free text
- Optionally, add photos or relevant documents
- Select ‘Account Type’ and enter the required details
- Review the 'Terms of Use' and check the box
- Click ‘Confirm and Submit Inquiry’
- You will have created an account and submitted your first inquiry
If you already have an account, submit an inquiry as follows:
- Go to the platform homepage and log in
- Click ‘Add Inquiry’
- The ‘Add Inquiry’ form will open

Is my inquiry visible to everyone on the platform?
Submitted inquiries are only visible to registered Service Providers. They are not visible to other Clients or casual visitors of the platform. The contact information entered by the Client is only visible to the Service Providers selected by the Client to submit a quote. Other Service Providers will see the inquiry without any Client contact details. The Client decides which companies to request quotes from; until then, their contact details remain hidden.
Is submitting an inquiry free?
Submitting an inquiry is free for everyone—whether you're a private individual, a legal entity representative, or a registered Service Provider.
Where are the quotes for my project sent?
Quotes are sent to your personal email address provided during account registration. After you select 3 companies from whom you want to receive quotes, your contact information becomes visible to those Service Providers. From there, you can communicate directly with them to clarify project details, share additional materials, or arrange a meeting at the project site if needed.
If I choose a contractor, do I have to pay a commission fee?
No, there is no commission fee! The entire platform is free to use for the Client.
After submitting an inquiry, am I required to choose a contractor and confirm it on the platform?
If none of the three quotes meet your expectations, you are not obligated to choose a contractor. In that case, you can post a new inquiry or browse the service section to find a suitable Service Provider. If you've found a suitable Service Provider and wish to proceed, you don't need to confirm or announce your selection on the BeforeBuilding platform or in your account. Simply inform the chosen provider directly via email or phone.
How can I leave feedback for a specialist after the work is done?
If you want to leave feedback for the company that completed the work, follow these steps:
- Log into your user account
- Select ‘My Inquiries’ or ‘Archive’
- Click ‘Confirmed Interest’ or ‘Selected’ for the relevant inquiry
- The company’s profile will open
- Select ‘Feedback’ on their profile
- The feedback submission view will open
- Before submitting feedback, review the 'Terms of Use'
I forgot my password. How can I log in?
You don’t need to create (or remember) a password to log into your user account. The platform generates a new one-time password for each login. You only need your email address. Click ‘Log in’, enter the email address you used during registration, and click ‘Log in’. The platform will send a link to your email and simultaneously display a ‘Confirm’ button. Click ‘Confirm’, and you're logged in.
